French artist Claire Nicolet , winner of the 2018 Yishu 8 France Prize , returns to China with a brand new series of works entitled "Promenades" (Walks). Through this exhibition, curated by Ambrine Lazreug-Didier (director of Yishu 8 Paris), the artist invites the public on a poetic stroll where color, landscape, and memory intertwine.
In Promenades , walking becomes an artistic gesture, a metaphor for sight and thought. Claire Nicolet's canvases open silent paths where colors seem to breathe and where time stands still, offering a space of calm and contemplation in the heart of the urban tumult.
