This is a three-month residency program at the Maison des Arts de Beijing, with a stipend, accommodation, workshop, and logistical support.

 

 

A place dedicated to dialogue and creation whose values are:

• Therecreationto dare to take a fresh look at the world and offer it in a piece of life called a work of art.

• The art of livingto give the most everyday gestures the form and simplicity of an art: speaking, listening, savoring.

 

 

This artist residency is open to young talents who have already started a career in Europe and wish to discover China to develop a project in line with Chinese thinking and aesthetics.

 

Painters, videographers, writers, designers, sculptors... The Yishu 8 association allows 3 winners each year to go on a residency in Beijing, thanks to the support of Boucheron. Applications are proposed by the members of the selection committee.

 

Free applicationscan also be sent or dropped off at the association,before September 30 of the current year for a residency the following year. Each file will be studied during the meeting of the selection committee.
