Le Prix de l'Artisanat chinois
In 2019, on the initiative of Ms. Lei Geye, Ms. Cao Dan, and Ms. Christine Cayol, the Prix YISHU 8 introduced a new category - The Prix YISHU 8 · Golden Phoenix (Prix de l'Artisanat chinois).
The Prix YISHU 8 · Golden Phoenix is cofounded by the Golden Phoenix Fund of the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation and YISHU 8. The prize aims to enable traditional Chinese craft to connect the past with the present, to create connections and friendship among people. Through the selection of young Chinese craft artists, exchange programs for young Chinese and French craft artists, and relevant exhibitions, the prize promotes outstanding traditional Chinese culture and fosters friendship among young people from China and France.

Entre l’instinct et l’expérience
Han Chang
Né en 1988, Han Chang est designer joaillier. Il a étudié à l'Académie Centrale des Beaux-arts à Pékin de 2009 à 2013, où il a obtenu sa licence, et à l'École de joaillerie de Birmingham de 2014 à 2015, où il a obtenu son master. Depuis 2017, il enseigne à l'Académie des beaux-arts de Tianjin.

Ni Lingling vit et travaille actuellement à Shanghai.
Elle est diplômée de L'Ecole professionnelle d'art et de design de Shanghai. En 2011, elle apprend en autodidacte la fabrication du feutre de laine, en 2016, le feutre traditionnel auprès de l'artisan Yang XiongBiao. Elle se formera sur les techniques de teinture naturelle. Dans ses créations, elle aime modifier la nauture du feutre pour créer des textures nouvelles, entre tradition et innovation.
